"The Invention of Whiteness" — New Audio Version

The Guardian Long Read has reposted the audio version of my "Invention of Whiteness" essay, which was published in 2021. The new podcast includes a prologue in which I talk about some of the difficulties I had when I originally started working on the piece, in 2019, and how my editor and I eventually resolved them.
